How to Get Here
Camp Manitou is located in Oakland, Maine. If you are flying, the closest major airport is the Portland Jetport in Portland, ME, and/or - further away but with more service - Logan International Airport in Boston, MA.
The conference offers a Shuttle between Portland and Camp Manitou on the days of arrival and departure.
Other possibilities are to drive or to carpool with other attendees. Parking for cars is in a lot accessible from the entry road, before arriving at the main buildings of the campus. Please note: Camp Manitou grounds crew requests that all attendees please refrain from parking on the grass anywhere on campus, even temporarily for unloading purposes.
When to Arrive
Please plan to arrive at Camp Manitou no earlier than 2:00 PM (ET) on arrival day. Check-in begins at 2:00 PM. All participants are expected to check in and sign up for a small group before entering the cabins or unloading cars. If you are bringing books for the bookstore, please be prepared to drop off books and sign consignment forms at check-in. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM that evening, followed by the first meeting of the Conference.
